Studio & Equipment

The studio, 20 minutes from Glasgow city centre and 5 minutes from Johnstone railway station, is well equipped for recording, rehearsal & post production services for a range of projects from a band or artist demo disc to soundtracks, voice-overs or a established singer-songwriter’s album.

Our in-depth experience added to our range of equipment and backline means we deliver a professional & polished recording every time.

Every project is different so we offer a free pre-production session to ensure we get the most out of the session.

In the control room we run an Apple Mac based system running Logic Pro 9 with digital and live capabilities and in house mixing and mastering. The studio has the latest UAD Apollo Quad pre-amps using all UAD plug ins. Waves, Logic and lexicon plug-ins are used post tracking.

Simulating warm analogue sound of 60s and 70s with digital methods.

Drums are recorded on our live kits or on our Roland V Drum Digital Kit into EZ Drummer & Superior drummer, with Yamaha Birch & Maple samples from the likes of Jabo & Clyde Stubblefield (Mr James Brown’s drummers). Ludwig, Pearl, Premier, and the Big Rock sound of John Bonham is also available.

We offer mixing packages for sessions recorded in our studio & for projects recorded elsewhere.
